Alex Phang joined Chamberlains with a Bachelor of Law from the University of Hertfordshire, completing his degree in 2016 and achieving full lawyer accreditation in 2021. Based in our Sydney office, he is a valued member of the Building & Construction Team, bringing a keen interest in litigation and dispute resolution to his role. This interest has guided him towards a focus on civil litigation and managing a diverse array of disputes. Alex is committed to supporting our clients not only from Sydney but also through handling Security of Payment Act (SOPA) matters across multiple states, including New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, and the ACT. His experience extends to representing clients in various legal settings, from NCAT to the Supreme Court. Alex believes in the importance of clear communication and teamwork in achieving the best possible outcomes for our clients. His ability to speak both Chinese and Malay enhances his interactions and understanding with a broader client base.

Away from his professional duties, Alex enjoys basketball and keeps an eye on the latest developments in the property market. His multifaceted interests underscore a well-rounded personality that complements his professional acumen.
